Neste sábado, dia 04 de fevereiro, a Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel coroa a paulista Camila Silva como sua rainha de bateria. A nomeação da atriz e também rainha de bateria da Vai-Vai, foi amplamente comemorada pela comunidade da escola nas redes sociais. Algo que até pouco tempo atrás não seria comum. Mesmo sendo de outro estado, Camila chega ao segundo reinado à frente da ``Não Existe Mais Quente`` com muito carisma e nos braços do povo de Padre Miguel.
"Acho que o samba não tem estado. Eu sou sambista e me dedico muito a escola. Tenho certeza que eles reconhecem isso. Tenho prazer em ensaiar, frequentar e estar com as pessoas da Mocidade. Sou muito bem tratada por todos e eles podem ter certeza que não vai faltar samba no pé e garra. Estou muito feliz com essa nova oportunidade que me foi dada." afirma Camila, que em 2013 foi rainha de bateria da escola.
Camila Silva desfilou também em 2016, como destaque, e seria musa no desfile deste ano até a saída de Carmen Mouro do posto de rainha por motivações médicas. Na festa preparada para ela neste sábado, a partir das 23h, a Mocidade convidou a Vai-Vai e as duas agremiações farão um grande show.
A quadra da escola fica na Avenida Brasil, 31.146, em Padre Miguel. A classificação etária é 18 anos e a entrada para o evento custa R$ 15 para homens e R$10 para mulheres, a noite toda. O Camarote para até 20 pessoas sai a 800 reais. A mesa para 4 pessoas custa 80 reais. O estacionamento 20 reais. Sócio torcedores e comunidade entram de graça com a apresentação da carteirinha.
